The polymer lid is made of polymer panels and anodized aluminium frame. Be aware that when you will have the polymer lid installed, you will find out that there are small (1 mm) gaps between the polymer panels, which the lid is created from. The reason for these gaps is that during the hot weather, the plastic is expanding its size and therefore the panels will become bigger and these gaps are there to accommodate for the plastic expansion. Polymer lid is maintenance free.
The tiling tray is made of metal plates. The standard size of the plate sections is 60cm but if requested, we can produce the sections any required size to have the stones fitting nicely to the each section. The metal sheets are supported by metal brackets and are covering the whole pit area. The tiles or stones can be then placed on these trays. After the installation is finished, the complete design is very neat as it looks like there is no cover at all because the cover mechanism with roll-up tube is hidden under the tiles and the surrounding of the pool is everywhere the same.
Wooden lid is made from good quality wood. It can nicely fit to surroundings of most of the gardens or backyards. In case of installation with Flat or Top track, the lid must have always opening for cover to get into the pit. Standard delivered lid is only impregnated therefore it is advised to have stained the delivered lid otherwise the wood gets the old (decayed) look quickly.
If the above ground installation is chosen, you may have your own solution on how to cover the mechanism and the roll up tube which are fixed to the floor next to the pool. We have the solution too. We produce Polymer or Wooden benches which hide the mechanism and all other mechanical parts perfectly. Beside of all other advantages, it is pleasant to sit on. If the customer does not wish to cover the mechanism with any bench, then the Box mechanism should be ordered. In Automatic version, the box mechanism can be delivered only if Hydraulic II. mechanism is ordered.
